Nursing Leader Marcia Murphy Presents Education Seminar
to Virtual AONL Audience

Marcia Murphy, VP of Clinical Operations and NursingAdvanced ICU Care’s Marcia Murphy, AGACNP-BC, ANP-BC, NE-BC, CCRN has been selected to present an Educational Seminar during AONL’s Virtual Conference 2020. In a presentation entitled “Getting Down To The Heart Of It: Managing a Cardiac Telemetry Program,” Murphy will focus on best practices for Cardiac Telemetry Management and highlight the benefits of Remote Patient Monitoring.

Successful management for Cardiac Telemetry programs requires a range of administrative challenges, including recruitment, training, staffing, scheduling and clinical interaction. In traditional models this management burden typically falls to a clinical leader. Murphy will detail the impact of these challenges and discuss alternative approaches that help protect the ability of nursing leadership to focus on patient care.

As a nurse and nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, Murphy is intimately familiar with both the benefits and the challenges that arise with telemetry programs. She has drawn on this background to spearhead the development of Advanced ICU Care’s Rhythm IQ service, a unique Remote Inpatient Telemetry Service designed to free hospital and health system leadership from many of the administrative burdens of telemetry monitoring.
